How Does it Work?

Ultrasound therapy is a noninvasive treatment that uses high-frequency sound waves to help injured or painful tissues heal and feel better. The sound waves travel into your tissues, muscles, tendons, ligaments, and joints to help with the following:

• Increase blood flow
• Gently warm deep tissues
• Reduce inflammation and stiffness
• Help tissues heal faster
• Decrease pain and muscle spasms

How does it feel? 

It is generally painless. You may feel slight warmth or tingling as the practitioner moves the device over your skin with conductive gel. 

Common conditions it’s used for:

• Muscle strains and spasms
• Tendon injuries (like tennis elbow, Achilles tendinitis)
• Joint pain (shoulder, knee, hip)
• Back and neck pain
• Scar tissue tightness
• Sports injuries

Our ultrasound therapy is a focused, 10-minute treatment designed to support healing and recovery in a specific area. Currently, this service is only available as an add-on to any of our other treatments. If scheduling allows, additional areas may be treated during your appointment.

• Duration: 10 minutes (add on to existing appointment)
• Cost: $30 for one area
• Additional Area: +$15 per area (time permitting)

Contraindications for Ultra Sound Therapy

• Those who have cancer or tumors
• Pregnant or breastfeeding
• Those who have a pacemaker
• Children who are still developing
